If you have already compiled service hours from another school or another platform (x2Vol), you have a couple of options. You can:
-
upload those service hours onto our new platform one-by-one (BRHS Service App) so that they count towards your hours needed for Graduation Recognition
OR -
Download the PDF Service Transcript from x2Vol and upload them to the BRHS Service App as an attachment. Under description, you can put "previous hours attached" and for adult in charge you can put Ms. Minick
-
Note that volunteer hours are not a requirement for graduation in CMS, however, students set themselves apart on job applications, resumes, and college applications by showing that they are invested in their communities and go the extra mile for others. This is KEY!

Navigating a resume as a high school student can be intimidating

Resumes aren't just for future jobs, they're also a way for you to express your accomplishments to colleges and the workplace - they're your personal marketing profile for yourself.
Considering resumes as a high school student often feels like this:
"What do I even put on here?"
"I've only ever had a part-time job, how does that prepare me for an actual career?"
"I think I have leadership skills and would be a great addition to most teams, but how do I tell employers that?"
"How do I word what I did in a professional way?"
